This position is a remote position that is supported through our Charlotte, NC office. We are looking to add to our team by placing a service technician with Commercial HVAC Service experience. in this position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting units ranging from 2-70 tons. Roles and Responsibilities

The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Work as a team to fulfill customers needs
  • Perform preventative maintenance at Commercial/Industrial sites
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
  • Assist with unit installations
  • Log HVAC equipment such as refrigerant circuit, electrical circuit, condition of equipment, etc.
  • Ability to braze, perform leak searches, and evacuation process.
  • Understands the commercial DX equipment up to/over 25 tons, exhaust systems, heat pumps, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, electric motor controls, etc.
  • Complete log sheets for customers as needed
  • Be responsive to supervisors and dispatching.
  • Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.
  • Be able to perform at a high level without direct supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3 years minimum experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician
  • High School GED
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Ability to understand equipment specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding basic refrigerant cycle, various heating component, and air distribution systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Always represent the company well.
  • Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
  • Must successfully pass a background check

Compensation: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
