About the Role:
MK Mechanical LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Indian Trail, NC. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will be put to work diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems for a variety of clients. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, and refrigeration equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service agreements on commercial accounts
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system failures efficiently and accurately
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts documentation
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians in the field
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA regulations, and local codes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service and repair experience
- Industrial HVAC experience a PLUS.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required
- Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration, electrical systems, and controls
- Experience with rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, Chillers, Boilers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service calls
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- NATE certification or equivalent trade credentials a plus

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
